Seasoned child actor who won the role of Timmy on the acclaimed 1950’s/60’s television series “Lassie”.
In 1991, he also made a return to television in “The New Lassie”. His autobiography “Timmy’s in the Well” is due out in September, 2007.

He was an american author, journalist, and dog breeder. He is perhaps best known for his beloved novels featuring collies. His kennel, Sunnybank (named after his family’s summer home), is well known in the collie world and his dog’s lines still exist in many pedigrees today.
